Hey all

I know I have forgotten the last 2weeks and I will do them now :). I'd say prayer week was really good I enjoyed spending time with myself in the prayer room. Really thinking of what god wants me to do! Had quite slot of talking on this with him and took all week I kind of knew what he wanted me to do, but this was actually god was saying it to me he wants me to become a youth worker. So the next week starts after half term back to the routine but I wasn't feeling myself. I wasn't enjoying it as much but I kept thinking I can do this. As im not a quitter after talking to my mum and dad and brother and people who care. So had a good meeting on the Sunday. I was feeling a bit sad as I was gong home on the Thursday night as it was the songsters funeral the Friday afternoon so enjoyed Tuesday as I led cameo about fireworks. I really enjoyed it and the cameo lot approved :). Thursday mornings are nice to like talking to people at coffee morning getting to know them better. But I enjoy listening to the kids read at the school brings joy listening to them trying and reading well. I then got home after a long journey. Dinner waiting as I got in ha. Having good chats. The service following day was good saw people who I love and love and care about me but what cheered me up was I saw my mentor mike but I had a chat with him but I was holding  Zachary his baby as not seen him yet was nice holding him. Me going home really did me good got in a better mood. Missing them loads but bring on a good week at Eston :)

  1. Hi Matt!

It's been good to read your blog and catch up on the latest! Sorry you were feeling a bit down and I'm glad to hear your feeling back on it now!

I was interested to hear about the CAMEO club you planned the other day. What's the group like? Are they older people or is it a mix of ages? What kinds of stuff did you get up to with them? I led a Home League the other day and had a great time talking to the older people of the corps and finding out what they worry about and enjoy, and how they perceive young people and think young people see them. A real eye opener!

It's great to hear about the time you've spent in prayer recently and how it's helped to clarify things for you. Keep it up! It's inspired me to focus more on prayer personally so thanks for that :)

    And Zachary. Cute. :)

God bless, and catch you soon!
